| Enjoy a pleasant vacation in one of our exceptional two or three bedroom vacation rentals situated on the northwest shore of Lake George, two miles east of Rhinelander. We provide clean and modern vacation rentals with large picture windows overlooking the lake. It is truly a breathtaking sight. We feel it is important to make a leisure vacation easier. Kafka's provides an uncrowded atmosphere where you can relax without worry. Kafka's Resort is furnished for your comfort and convenience, overlooking the lake on beautiful grounds with a park-like Northwoods setting. Our lawns are level and well maintained. Our units are equipped with all modern furnishing for your comfort and convenience with the exception of telephones. Each unit consists of a living room, kitchen-dining area, two or three bedrooms with double or twin beds, and a bathroom with tub and/or shower. Cribs and high chairs are available at no charge. All bed linens are furnished except for towels and crib sheets. All units include a storage room for fishing equipment, swimming accessories, etc. (#3 has a screened porch). Rental includes a 14' Alumacraft boat, semi private pier, stationary barbecue grill, picnic table, lawn chairs, and redwood loungers. Outboard motors are available.

All Season Activities - relaxing, fishing, swimming, snowmobiling, and X-C skiing. There are numerous golf courses, mini golf, shopping, horseback riding, tennis, and skating nearby. If you happen to be fisherman, you have 446 acres of wonderful spring-fed waters loaded with structure to try your luck in. Experience prime hunting for your favorite quarry whether it is grouse, ducks, deer, or the spectacular fall colors and scenery. Swimmers will find Lake George excellent. Our safe sandy beach is pleasant and relaxing for sun bathing and swimming. Our beach has no drop-offs, a long swimming pier, and a safety anchored raft. Our beach and playground area are illuminated at night. Our large level park-like playground area includes a park size swing set, shuffleboard, volleyball, horseshoes, basketball, and tether-ball with plenty of room for a baseball diamond. We also have a screened fish cleaning house with electricity. |
